We had the best experience with Haute Vie — Heather is absolutely excellent in every way. Not only was she willing to work with us to be our day-of coordinator in non-standard circumstances (shorter day, weather-dependent backyard venue plan), but she also never once made us feel like anything less than her #1 priority. She also works for NorthEast event rentals, which meant we were magically able to streamline our plan — and for a much better rate than the other company we had looked at, which was incredible. Heather went out of her way to ensure she fully understood our vision and our plan, scheduling and driving down for a walk-through (and measuring everything out!) and then reaching out to check in with us a few times in the weeks leading up to our wedding. At our rehearsal, we realized we’d have to slightly re-work the ceremony chair arrangement she had drawn up according to our specifications (WE had been wrong), and she shrugged it off like it was no big deal at all. Day-of, she set everything up perfectly — it was EXACTLY how we had imagined it. And she also did more than we are even aware of in terms of last-minute vendor and/or shuttle coordination. Leading up to our wedding, Heather asked us for all of the information she needed, and it just could not have gone more smoothly day-of. Our number one goal was not to be worried about anything at all that day — and Heather absolutely delivered, while also being just incredibly kind, patient, and professional. Amidst all of the wedding-planning stress and chaos, she was truly a joy to work with. If we could give her more than five stars (double?), we would. Hire her immediately! Lizzie B.
Heather is truly exceptional at what she does. She kept us on track and organized with planning our wedding (which I very much needed), asked important questions to ensure every detail was covered, and gave helpful suggestions when we were undecided on something. She made several trips to the Cape to take measurements of the property and designed our reception floor plan among so many other things. The morning of our wedding, Heather set all of our tables, arranged decor, and so much more. She was attentive, dependable, organized, and I know our wedding day wouldn’t have come together so perfectly without her being involved. Heather was absolutely amazing to work with! Our wedding was at my mom’s farm where we had to bring in every vendor and had a lot to coordinate. There hadn’t been a wedding on the property for over 30 years and we had to bring in everything – tent, chairs, tables, lighting, bathrooms, food, waitstaff, bartenders, etc. Heather was so organized, communicated with us and all of our vendors on a regular basis, and thought of everything we didn’t even know we had to think about (lighting, electricity, the flow of the ceremony/reception, etc.). She executed our vision perfectly and I was so at ease on my wedding day knowing that she was handling everything! We met with her weekly in the few months leading up to the wedding and each time she came prepared with a checklist of items we should be getting done which helped keep us on track. She gave amazing recommendations for vendors and was so responsive whenever we had questions. She came out and did a few site visits as well which helped us feel more prepared on the wedding day. I was so stressed before the wedding, but once we started working with Heather, I was immediately at ease! She knows exactly what she’s doing, is so knowledgeable about the industry, made great suggestions and had such a calming presence. Our day wouldn’t have gone as well as it did without her!
